  • Y do some or many Chinese restaurants NOT devein the shrimp?

    Hello if you don’t devein it you’re eating poop!

    I notice @ some Chinese restaurants (in TX where I live) the kung pao shrimp is NOT deveined but their jumbo garlic shrimp is. WTF? Anyone know why?

    I buy my shrimp peeled AND deveined & sometimes precooked!

      I’m with you! I just don’t eat shrimp at Oriental Restaurants at all, most don’t devein them..I think it is a cultural thing!

      I have never encountered the problem anywhere else I have eaten shrimp and thats alot of times and places.
