I have heard that whenever a Chinese Restaurant opens up in an area, that all the stray cats and dogs disappear, and they are served as PORK in chinese restaurants. Is this true ?
how do YOU organize your recipies?
I want to organize my recipies… I have some from family memebers jotted down on loose paper.. some favorite recipies taged in books and some loose magazine clippings…. I started to but them on the computer but this is taking forever. and I find that going back and forth to the computer for the recipe is too cumbersome. So how do you organize your recipies.. or how should I do this for myself.
What are some delious recipies for chicken when your oven is broken?
My oven is broken and I need to cook nice dinner for some missionaires next Saturday. It is suppose to be a nice dinner and not really casual. I want to cook something a little out of the ordinary, but I want to please the missionaries. They aren’t very picky, but I really want to knock their socks off. I am also wanting to keep it simple yet creative. I am planning on making everything from statch. They want me to cook chicken. What appitzers, side dishes, drinks, (no alchol please these missionaires do not drink it.), salad, and desert should I serve? I need recipies please and good suggestions. Please remember my oven is broken and I will not be able to get it fixed in time for this dinner. Thanks everyone! ^-^

I’m not being offensive, but my family experienced going to some Chinese restaurants and had gotten sick from eating their food because they put witchcraft in their food. That’s why hey don’t eat it. We are Christians but I never had that problem.

How do Cats and Dogs know which is cat food and which is dog food?
I have 2 cats and three dogs. One night, I ran out of cat food (the dry type) and my cats were hungry. So since I had dog food only and the shops were closed, I gave them dog kibbles. They’re more or less of the same shape and size and are made of the same ingredients – chicken. My cats took a nibble and refused the rest of the bowl, preferring to go hungry than eat dog food. The next day, i got them a fresh pack of made-for-cats kibbles and they immediately dived in and ate up. How come my cats knew what I gave them wasn’t cat food? I also know of dogs that won’t eat cat food for the long run (not mine though, cos they’re pigs and will eat anything). It would be good if a pet food manufacturer can answer this question. Is there some special ingredient you put in cat and dog food that makes cats and dogs know which kibbles is who’s? Also, nowadays, dogs are eating fish too – like salmon. You can’t say it’s the ingredient. How come they know the difference?
What makes the vegetables from chinese restaurants kind of gooey?

Alright, an oddly phrased question, I know. But basically, I notice at a lot of chinese restaurants that the vegetables that you might get on top of your cantonese chow mein (among other dishes) has a fairly clear, slightly gooey sauce that they seem to be tossed in. I love the stuff, I just have no idea what it is/causes it. Anybody know? I want to make it.
